Overview
Everyone must have experienced a computer getting weird while working on a project. I also had a problem with my laptop during the project. This was my digital design project, and because of this obstacle, I had to figure out the digital design project using the laptop the least. Then I came up with the idea, 'Why not make the digital device myself instead using it.'

All my interactions were compressed into digital media while in lockdown. So I wanted to solve this lack of tactility. Based on these thoughts, I made a simple electronic tapestry using fabric and thread in this project. Each embroidery on the tapestry initiates to text my phone.
The pace of book evolution is relatively slow compared to the technological development of society. Using this device, you can have both the advantages of a physical book and the convenience of an ebook. Because the device is cloth, the readers need less space for the book. The readers can also feel the tactility by touching the fabric.
I thought the book ‘Rapunzel’ shares something with text messages in terms that Rapunzel communicates with the world sending down her hair. So I chose to demonstrate the device with this fairytale..
Each of the embroideries represents the story of the page. When readers press the embroidery, it sends the page by the text.
